X-com Ed
Yes, again with the editor. I'd just like to let you people know that the fine folks at X-com UFO, most notably Stewart, have agreed to host a nice subforum for my editor! This should make it a lot easier to receive feedback, bug reports and suggestions on the program.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Last.fm
For those of you that don't have a Last.FM account yet, it's not too late! The site lets you download a program that keeps track of the music you listen to, then proceeds to generate statistics about your favorite music/artists on your page. It will also suggest other songs or albums you might like.
And also, gamingfm.com is pretty amazing if you're into videogame music. Last night they were playing Klepacki's C&C album for a while, followed by some Grim Fandango and Monkey Island. Definitely worth a look.

The Nature of Matter and Change.
Hello, my name's Chris (long time reader, first time poster).
It was a lovely day today. The November weather here in Sydney never disappoints me. There was a slight breeze blowing from the east, so I climbed up onto the garage roof and proceeded to fly my favourite kite.
This kite is fantastic. It's about 40cm wide and has red, blue, green and yellow stripes all the way along. It usually goes pretty high, but today something was different. Today it soared majestically above me, higher than I'd ever seen it fly before. A small group had amassed below me, captivated by my aeronautic skill. This was going to be one of the greatest days of my life!
Excitedly, I let the kite climb higher still, it must have reached 50ft if it ever flew a foot. I thought perhaps today I would reach the heavens, but I was abruptly roused from my day dream as I felt a sharp tug on the line. I had reached the end of the string.
Sadness gripped me like I've never felt it before. Was this the end of my kites epic journey? I looked down at the animated faces of my small following. They were all cheering me to sail higher! To ascend above the clouds, and take with me their imagination, their whimsy, and yes even their awareness!
How could I possibly dissapoint them now? I was responsible for lifting their hopes to such a dangerous degree. To end my flight today would be to end their dreams for the future. I am a terrible person.
I realised that I had only one course of action available to me. I cautiously bent down and picked up the scissors I had thrown onto the roof last Thursday. I edged as close as I possibly could to the end of the garage roof and clipped the line.
I closed my eyes. I couldn't bare to watch the now raging winds tear my kite away from me. I could hear the crowd's collective disappointment as they all shouted their disapproval. I slowly opened my eyes to find that my kite was still there! It hadn't left me! I knew today was going to be a good day!
The smile quickly slipped from my face as I slowly realised that I had not cut my kite's string. I had in fact cut the town's power line that ran precariously close to my garage roof. As the crowd angrily disbanded I wondered how I was going to look up porn tonight.

X-com Editor updated yet again
Well, I've finally sat down and worked on that darned editor some more. I've tweaked the soldier editing and fixed some bugs. I've also added a base editing screen. In addition, you can now change the weapon and alien stats in the game. Well, go ahead and see for yourself.
X-com Editor
I've made some bugfixes to the editor, like frequent crashes and the fact soldiers weren't updating correctly. I've also added a new function: name suffixes based on the soldier's strengths. Check out the readme for more information.
Updates, updates
Well, well, I think it's time for a little update, don't you agree? It seems I finally managed to quit WoW. Looks like it might actually be permanent this time! As a parting gift to the game, I have created a tool for it, maybe you'll find it useful. Head over the the projects section to take a peek.
That said, I have been playing a lot of Kotor 2 recently. I never finished the game before, but I'm slowly getting there this time. Playing a light sider... AGAIN.. I'm way too nice for this crap. I never finished the first game as a darksider either. I need some lessons in being evil, really.
You may also have noticed that I've been sprucing up the site a bit here and there. I've added comments to all my photo galleries, including the game screenshot and work galleries. I've also put up some extra sections under work, to show off some of my old art. Just because I felt like it.
Oh yeah, and the Oblivion and Morrowind zones finally have some content now. I've added some snapshots of my games. be sure to visit the WoW section too, can't miss out on that now, can you?
In any event, now that I've freed up a lot of time by quitting WoW, I'm hoping I can dedicate it more to my website, as well as some single-player games I've been meaning to play; NWN 2 being one of them - I'm waiting for my copy, release it already!
Stay tuned for more news.

Slack more
Please. Slack some more. Don't bother posting at all. Okay. I guess that's what I'm doing now. It's been what, at least a month again since I updated. Sigh.
Anyway, not much new. Still playing WoW. Goddamn addiction. Beef is working on a game again, and will probably never finish it (again).
Oh yeah, and things are well again with my parents (for those of you that know the story).
I'd just like to add one last thing:
Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can't help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and the execution is carried out automatically and without pity.
<3 Heinlein.

Whoa, posting time
Sweet jesus. It's been nearly a month since I last posted.
I've been checking my google sitemap results, and guess what? It seems my JPG2ASCII converter is pretty popular as far as search results are concerned. This pleases me, considering the amount of time I put in the damn thing.
Anyway, I'm still playing WoW. Yep. Still. I'm probably going to burn out soon, I can feel it.
In other news, I'm planning on writing a short story of some sorts, not sure what yet. Stay tuned!

Soccer time is over
That's right. It's about freakin' time, too. I was getting pretty tired of hearing about that shit. I really don't give a rats ass about soccer, but it seems pretty much every else does. Sigh. Even my goddamn guild chat is infected wit hsoccer talk. Anyway, the nightmare is over now. Onward to greener pastures!
Slow grind
If you played WoW, you know what I'm talking about.. grinding is boring, but a part of the game (sadly). Soon, my leveling grindage will be over, for the most part. My rogue's 57 and my mage is 53. Soon both of 'em will be 60 and I can have some instance/pvp run. Yay.
